Use the version-specific complete source package and BUILDING.txt:

The source package includes runnable bootstrap, build, relink and deterministic
source-delivery scripts. The producer build was performed; independent
byte-for-byte reproduction has not been verified. Other host platforms have
not been validated. For the previous npm-core recipe see legacy-BUILDING.txt.

The slim1 delivery omits only unused Emscripten test/third_party and site.
It retains all compiler/runtime source files, required probes and licences.
Its clean build, relink and local media verification are recorded in the
version-specific receipts/conservative-source-validation.json.
